THE BEAUTY OF LIFE

Recently, I was lost in series of introspective thoughts about life and those things that make it beautiful; I have asked myself what it really means to say life is beautiful. I am sure as you are reading these words now you are silently trying to figure out those aesthetical make ups that make life beautiful, well, just know that it will be a worthy course if you do find them out.

Life is never a bed  of roses, neither has it ever promised us a smooth ride; sometimes we find ourselves up against the wall and we feel like giving up, sometimes we found ourselves stranded at the crossroad, confused about what to do. Honestly, life sometimes becomes a puzzle that is hard to figure out, an equation so difficult to solve and question so tasking to answer.

In this life, we will definitely have our moments of joy and regrets, our share of tears and laughter, our ups and downs, experiences to cherish and those we wouldn’t want to encounter again. Unavoidably, we will make mistakes, we will offend others and also be offended, and we will love and be loved. Times will come that we will make decisions; some will make us while others will mar us, both have far reaching consequences.

These moments are the beauty and aesthetics of life, without them, life will not be cherished and valued. These moments are the defining moments of our lives; they are the identity carving processes of our lives. What we do with them before, during and after experiencing them will largely determine who we will be and how relevant we will be in our time.

God knows you are mortal, He knows you are susceptible to situations like these, and that they have the power to distract you, which is why He made the provision of grace. He knows that these situations can cause you to fall short of his expectations, so He made available his mercy. Sometimes you will even doubt whether He exists or not that is why He made the provision of faith. Above all, He cares and desires that you make it through it all, which is why He freely lavished His unconditional love on us.

When we say life is beautiful, we don’t mean hard times won’t come, but we simple mean that in the good and bad times, we will make it through by God’s amazing grace, all-forgiving mercy and unconditional love.

As a way to start up the year 2019 proper, we will be delving into some of the aspects that truly and practically make life beautiful and worth it. I deeply desire that after these series of humble expositions about the factors that make life beautiful, we will have a systemic and perspective shift about a divine and purposeful beautiful life.

    Quite true. Life is beautiful.
    Life is actually full of moments. Moments to abhor and moments to cherish. But the beauty is that non of these moments last forever. As the saying goes, tough times never last but tough people do, our moments too do not last forever. Whether good or bad, pleasant or unpleasant, they never last. Though some moments mar us, but certainly not beyond repairs. And to the wise, even when it make us, not to despise our maker. Indeed, life is beautiful.

So I failed to send out the publicity for what I am to write on and share with you yesterday; partly because I have been dragging with my health lately and the fact that writer's block came visiting.
